There are 5 Silkie chicks. They will grow up to be fluffballs with fancy pants. The oldest is a Blue Silkie, born around October 9th. That one is probably a rooster, due to its outgoing and sometimes aggressive demeanor. Unfortunately, roosters are illegal within Portland city limits. If it turns out that Big Blue is a rooster, we'll have to put him on craigslist, or the neighbors next door will FREAK OUT - we've been through this before... We also have one Buff Silkie and two White Silkies, all born around Oct 16th. The sweet little Blue Silkie was born around October 23rd. Any good name suggestions? Winners will receive an autographed picture of the named chicks. less
