The removable half soup can (removed at the beginning and added at the end of the video) restricts the draft and concentrates the jet to a smaller point. It's a good light show, but I really need to build a heat exchanger that'll prevent energy from being wasted.

This is incredibly boring. The rocket stove is a fun little experiment to mess around with but it's not very efficient. It's perfect for cooking but not very good at heating since all heat is concentrated to single point. I would recommend the wood gas stove for more efficient burning/heating with less smoke. I think the wood gas stove actually uses the smoke as fuel and burns it.

It's a shabby setup but still functional.
3 soup cans,
1 cookie tin,
and dirt insulation along the inner-wall of the large cookie tin.
This was made out of scraps, but in the case of emergency, you could easily build a wood stove with pipes to heat a small area.
