In this message we reflect on God’s working in the Church. Christ’s death and resurrection gathers together God’s people to be His Body. That body possesses structure and order, which can be seen among its leaders. In 1 Timothy 3:1-7, the noble task of the overseer is described not by what the leader does, but by what he is to be.
