hey whats up its ya newfie boy Jordan! First of all I am 19 years of age and a DIE hard leafs fan! My dad got me into the leafs since I was a kid and l loved watching them ever since. I know theres lots of leafs haters out there but whats the world without haters right? leafs have the most loyal and passionate fans in the world and I love that about leafs fan. {Some History Of The Stanley Cup}
The beginning of the Stanley Cup started on March 18 1892 at a dinner in Ottawa. Lord Kilcoursie a player from the Ottawa Rebels Hockey club was the man who created Lord Stanley. First the cup measured 7 1/2 inches high by 11 1/2 inches across for the sum of 10 guineas which approximately cost . The Stanley cup was the oldest trophy that was competed by North America. It is a bigger trophy now because after Lord Kilcoursie had died other people have finished the trophy. Since the 1910 the National Goverment took over and took possesion of the trophy and it well always be a part of hockey.
