This whole episode is about trialing the stream in readiness for something that is happening on tuesday from a promotion I perform at here in Beijing.
The episode here contains several songs that i'm rehearsing or in fact playing but essentially i'm just riding my luck hoping that i don't get cut off and that the stream continues.....recorded with a 10rmb mike and my behringer mic...as well as my trustworthy Yamaha APX 7 and a few Jimmy Dunlop plectrums.

at the best of times rehearsals are an opportunity to highlight what's going on in terms of how a song is conveyed to an audience. often times there are mistakes, often times there are lovely musical moments...and sometimes there are busted strings...and dummy spits...i think it's fair to say most of those are on this clip.

this broadcast was made from clips i set up for youtube and youku in china. i streamed these songs some time in late august, though they were shot in early august.
it would be likely my last broadcast with this appearance since due DHT inbalances i will lose all my hair, much like a chemo therapy patient....it will be 'pretty funny on the other side' i'm thinking.....and at this stage i'm not sure i'll deal with it.....
