Catchy lyrics and hypnotic beats give the impression that Fate Kills the Hero have been playing together for more than just a couple years. All four members are from Connecticut and their shared passion for writing and playing music brought them together and has kept them alive in the local music scene.

The band is often noted for their powerful and energetic onstage presence, which was clear when they visited us here on JTV!

Wade stopped by to chat with viewers and play a couple of songs on ukulele. He's just finished a compilation with Jack Conte of the YouTube-famous duo Pomplamoose, which will be released in January. Wade played last year on YouTube Ukulele Orchestra with Julia Nunes and other artists. All this while he's a sophomore at University of Cincinnati. Check out his music at www.wadejohnston.com.

Beto Cuevas is the former lead singer of Latin alternative rock band Le Ley. The band established Cuevas as not only a talented songwriter, but a superstar in his own right.

La Ley broke up in 2005 and Cuevas has since been successfully perusing a solo career. He released his first full length solo album, Miedo Escenico, in 2008 and is currently on tour. Whilst on the road Cuevas made time to broadcast live from The Dominican Republic and take some time to chat with fans.

David Dondero was in the Justin.tv office for a 30-min broadcast, playing acoustic and taking requests from fans. Look out for his new album, Number Zero With A Bullet, coming out March 2010.

British transplant Lolene had so much fun chatting with fans, she stopped in to JTV for her second live broadcast!

The Los Angeles resident is currently finishing up her highly anticipated debut album “The Electrick Hotel”, set to be released early 2010. She has recently released “Sexy People”, the delicious first track and video off her new album.

Status Green is a very busy band right now. This year alone they have opened for Nickelback, Blink 182, Hinder, Creed, Weezer, Panic! At the Disco, and Fall Out Boy among others along with the Vans Warped Tour. The band has licensed their songs to MTV's College Life, CBS's The Guiding Light, and Fuel TVs 2009 Vans Triple Crown Surf Competition.

Status Green has become finalists in Break'N Through VH1's Save the Music program. If Status Green moves from finalist to the new Break'N Through artist, you will be able to see them perform live on Leno or Late Night with Jimmy Falon this fall. Somehow, amidst their hectic schedule, the rockers from New Jersey made time to stop in to perform and chat with fans live!

Joel David Moore of Avatar dropped in to JTV channel The Stream discuss his role in James Cameron's new film “Avatar”.

The film is an epic action adventure that depicts a spectacular fantasy world brought to life by incredible special effects. Moore discusses what it was like to work on the four year project and work with such a distinguished and star studded cast.
